Doctoral student Kyle Crompton was recently awarded the prestigious SMART scholarship. The U.S. Department of Defense gives the scholarship to students pursuing advanced degrees in STEM fields. These scholars are hired as research staff at defense laboratories around the country.

The men’s hockey team split the weekend with Air Force, winning 5-1 Friday and losing 4-3 in overtime on Saturday. The women’s team beat Brown University 4-1 Friday and 5-2 Saturday.
