Jackie Bergin, a third-year advertising and public relations student, received the Charles S. Smith Scholarship from the Rochester chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. The scholarship helps students attend public relations conferences.

Men face Holy Cross this weekend
The men’s hockey team returns to action this weekend with a pair of games today and Saturday at Atlantic Hockey Conference rival Holy Cross. The Tigers enter the weekend fifth in AHC play with 25 points, just two points out of fourth place and four out of second place.

Crew teams host fundraiser today
The men’s and women’s crew teams are holding the inaugural RIT 500 until 4 p.m. today in the Student Alumni Union lobby. The RIT 500 is a fundraiser in which the athletes will attempt to row 500,000 meters as a team in one day to raise money for the Tigers for Tigers coalition.
