Pre-registration available for Spring Career Fair
More than 750 recruiters from 250 companies on campus to meet with students and alumni
Rochester Institute of Technology’s 2015 Spring Career Fair is set for 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, in the Gordon Field House.
More than 750 recruiters representing 250 companies are registered to meet with RIT students and alumni seeking co-op and full-time positions. Approximately half of those employers will remain on campus the following day to conduct interviews. A valid RIT ID is required for entry.
“This will be one of our largest career fairs yet,” said Manny Contomanolis, senior associate vice president and director of the Office of Career Services and Cooperative Education. “We’re expecting more than 4,000 students and alumni to attend.”
To help avoid lines on the day of the fair, pre-registration sessions are being held in each college throughout the week at the following locations and times:
- Wednesday, Feb. 25
- B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences, 11 a.m.–2 p.m. in Golisano Hall atrium
- Saunders College of Business, 11 a.m.–2 p.m. in the Lowenthal Hall atrium
- College of Imaging Arts and Sciences, 11 a.m.–2 p.m. in the Gannett Hall lobby
- College of Applied Science and Technology, 11 a.m.–2 p.m. in building commons
- College of Liberal Arts, 11 a.m.–2 p.m. in Mackenzie Commons
- Center for Bioscience Education and Technology, 11 a.m.–1 p.m. in the lobby
- Thursday, Feb. 26
- B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences, 11 a.m.–2 p.m. in Golisano Hall atrium
- Kate Gleason College of Engineering, 11 a.m.–2 p.m. in Erdle Commons
A variety of employers will be on hand for the event, including first-time attendee ESPN. Every region of the U.S. will be represented at the fair, with around half of the employers attending the fair based outside of New York.
