- Participate in site visits to medical and healthcare institutions in Sweden and hear from guest lecturers who are medical professionals in Sweden.
- Explore processes employed by health care to innovate products and services.
This is the culminating course in the MS in Health Systems Management (MHSM) program but is open (with director approval) to graduate students in other programs with an interest in studying a health system through the lens of their profession. Students will participate in a first-hand analysis of a health system in Sweden to critically examine and assess the structure, function, and achievements of care delivery in an international health system.
In addition, the program will provide students with a focused experience to learn the process of innovation and further develop their management and leadership skills, including working within and leading teams, presentation/communication, professionalism, and ethics.

- Make an appointment with your financial aid assistant director (call Financial Aid at 585-475-2186) and mention that you are calling for a study abroad appointment
- Upload a copy of your budget worksheet(s) via the Financial Aid upload portal at https://join.rit.edu/register/FA_upload (at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled meeting, so they have time to prepare)
