Service industry expert to speak tonight
Entrepreneur, consultant and service industry expert will discuss the important role service plays in American business
“Excellence in service is the only sustainable business strategy,” said Raul Pupo, author of America’s Service Meltdown: Restoring Excellence in the Age of the Customer.
Pupo ’72, a graduate of RIT’s MBA program, will be the featured speaker at a lecture and book signing from 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17, in Webb Auditorium, located in James E. Booth Hall at Rochester Institute of Technology. The event is free and open to the RIT and local community.
With more than 30 years of experience in business, information technology and entrepreneurship to help clients address strategic business issues, Pupo will discuss the important role service plays within American business, followed by an audience Q&A. Copies of America’s Service Meltdown will be available for purchase at a book signing, following the lecture.
The lecture and book signing are presented by RIT’s School of International Hospitality and Service Innovation in the College of Applied Science and Technology, Saunders College of Business and the Office of Development and Alumni Relations.
