Louise Slaughter Hall (SLA)

Louise Slaughter

The building was named after Congresswoman Louise Slaughter in recognition of her many efforts on behalf of RIT, especially her support for CIMS since its inception in 1990. Slaughter played the key role in securing a total of $11.25 million in federal funds to help build the facility, and since then she has been instrumental in securing funding for the Center's numerous research activities.
