August Family Atrium (SLA)

Charles J. and Burton S. August Family Foundation

The August Family Atrium in the Clinical Health Sciences Center was dedicated on May 26, 2015 in a private ceremony. The facility is the new home for the clinical programs in the College of Health Sciences and Technology, the Wegmans School of Health and Nutrition and a primary care clinic run by Rochester Regional Health Systems clinic. Burt August is an RIT Trustee Emeritus.

Burton S. August and Charles J. August were the 1993 recipients of the Nathaniel Rochester Society (NRS) Award given each year to individuals who recognized and thanked for supporting RIT at a leadership level.  The brothers have served on RIT's Board of Trustees and also financially supported the development of the August Center on RIT's campus.
