Bruce And Nora James Atrium (GOS)

Bruce And Nora James

Bruce James and his wife, Nora, contributed generously toward the 1998 addition to the Gosnell Hall. The couple commissioned the artwork for the atrium of the Center for Excellence in Mathematics, Science and Technology in the Gosnell Hall. Etched in the black granite floor of the atrium is the work of internationally known artist Larry Kirkland, who selected symbols representing milestones in the history of science for his art.
Mr. James graduated from RIT's School of Printing Management and Sciences. He joined the RIT Board of Trustees in 1994 and in 2002 became chair. Mr. James had the honor of being selected by President Bush for the post of Public Printer of the United States in 2002.
