National Work Zone Awareness Week April 15-19, 2024
National Work Zone Awareness week is an annual spring campaign held at the start of the construction season to encourage safe driving through highway work zones. This year marks the 25th national event and will be hosted by the Maryland Department of Transportation during the week of April 15-19. Join OSHA Region 2 Compliance Assistance Specialists for their Seasons of Safety, Work Zone Safety Awareness Lunch & Learn webinar, April 17, 2024 12:00pm to 12:45pm. This virtual webinar will focus on the prevention the all too often deadly dangers of worker struck-by incidents in and around highway/roadway construction zones. Worker struck-by incidents are a potential hazard at every work zone and we must continue our efforts to protect all workers.
