Note: Rocky Dwyer MS '77 (CAST) was the recipient of the 2021 Emerald Literati Award for Outstanding Paper. The article, Predicting Manufacturing Employee Turnover Intentions, was recognized for creating an impact and generating change beyond academia and for contributing to the body of knowledge. Previously, Rocky was recognized by the Financial Management Institute of Canada with the Alan G. Ross Award for his outstanding commitment and contribution to financial management; the Ottawa Centre for Research and Innovation acknowledged his contribution, commitment and dedication to education and for building a future cadre of public service leaders with its Capital Educators Award. As well, he received Emerald Publication’s Outstanding Special Issue Editor for his academic research related to Alleviating Poverty: Making Trade Work for the Poor; Corporate Ethics: Ethics in the Global Marketplace, Environmental Stewardship, and Why Green Management Matters via special issue publications.

Currently, Dr. Dwyer is a contributing faculty member with Walden University’s School of Management and Human Potential where he is a member of the Doctor of Business Administration program, where is enables students to create scholarly success.

Note: Marylin Galimi ’16 (SOIS) MS ’19 (CHST) has been named chief operating officer of Upstate University Hospital. Marylin joined the Upstate in 2016 as associate administrator for hospital planning, and soon after was promoted to the assistant vice president of facility and planning, a position she has held since 2019. Marylin has more than 24 years of experience in the design operations field, including 15 years of progressive health systems administration. In addition to her education at RIT, Marylin holds a certificate of specialized education and training from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management and Syracuse University’s Whitman School. She also has earned the DNV Advanced Healthcare Operations Professional Certification. Marylin is a member of the Syracuse Rotary Club, has served as its past president, and is a Rotary International Paul Harris recipient.
