Join Us for the Launch of RIT Certified
Alumni are invited to an exclusive livestream event or in-person cocktail reception and panel discussion on Wednesday, June 8 to celebrate the launch of our new workforce development initiative called RIT Certified. As both the future of work and education unfold in real time, RIT Certified is answering the call by offering job training and career education and training to serve employers, individuals in and out of the workforce, and working professionals.

RIT Men's Lacrosse wins NCAA Division III National Title
The RIT Men’s Lacrosse team has done it again. The team won its second-straight NCAA Division III National Title on May 29, 2022 beating Union College 12-10. This was the Lacrosse team’s fourth National Championship appearance, advancing to the final game in 2013, 2017, and 2021.

More than 4,300 graduates celebrated earning their degrees at RIT’s commencement ceremony on May 6, 2022. Each of the more than 4,300 graduates this year from RIT should be proud of their achievement, be excited about what is next in their lives, and remember—with grace—what it took to get to this milestone.
WITR relaunches with a new look and sound
WITR-FM (89.7), RIT’s student-run radio station, had a makeover beginning May 9, 2022 with a new music format, logo, website, and later this year, a boost in transmission power.
Welcome to Minecraft Campus
Members of RIT’s Electronic Gaming Society have built a digital version of the RIT campus in the video game Minecraft, the best-selling video game of all time.

Alumna Danijela Crljen BS ’04 will offer an insight into the process of becoming a published writer, describing the path she took, from the moment of getting the idea for the book to the final step of reaching the audience.
#RITHawkey Talk with Coach Wayne Wilson June 13, 6 p.m. Eastern
Join Wayne Wilson, Ed Trefzger BS ’21, Matt Campbell BS ’03, MS '12 and Scott Biggar BS ’89 as they provide a preview on this upcoming year's Tiger Hockey season. They'll be discussing what we have to look forward to in the 2022-2023 season, including the team's newest recruits, schedule and the impact of RIT being allowed to give scholarships.
Tea business bubbling for alumni entrepreneurs
RIT Alumni opened the Rochester-based chain, which specializes in the unique drink that commonly consists of tea accompanied by chewy tapioca balls or boba. The chain has been rapidly expanding across the United States, with 13 stores in Chicago; Atlanta; Chattanooga, Tenn.; and Annapolis, MD., to name a few. More locations are in the works.
