Frank Sklarsky BS '78 named RIT’s 2024 Outstanding Alum
Frank Sklarsky BS ’78, a successful businessman who with his wife, Ruth, has shared their philanthropy with RIT and others, is RIT’s 2024 Outstanding Alum. Established by the Office of the President in 1952, this is the highest honor the university can bestow upon a graduate. It is in recognition of professional accomplishments as well as service and generosity to the university. The award was presented at convocation on May 10.

As a result of hard work and perseverance, several students from a variety of colleges and academic disciplines have been awarded international fellowships and scholarships. In addition, RIT has a record six Fulbright U.S. Student awardees this year, following a record 30 applicants and 15 finalists.

Jennifer Vuong BS ‘09 is a graduate of the College of Science - biomedical sciences program in 2009. After graduating from RIT, Jennifer obtained her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor then completed a post-graduate year 1 residency at Erie VA in Pennsylvania.

Congratulations to Jeremy Sniatecki BFA '95, who was recently featured on the Svengoolie show broadcast on the MeTV network, related to the Svengoolie lunchbox he had designed and illustrated for the Toynk collectibles company, along with many other lunchboxes he has done (Rocky IV, Dune, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Golden Girls, etc.).
