Aqua Fit helps condition and tone your heart, body, mind, and spirit with fun and fluid exercises that target muscles for endurance, strength, flexibility, range of motion, and balance. This class uses water resistance techniques and a variety of equipment, both in deep and shallow water, to allow participants to get a rejuvenating, invigorating, and effective workout. Swimming skills are not necessary.

Better Me Boot Camp mixes traditional callisthenic and body weight exercises with interval training and strength training. Our instructors will incorporate various workout modes and equipment to ensure safe and effective fitness improvement.

Dance HIIT is a combination of cardio and strength training choreographed to popular music.  This 45 minute sweat session will work your body from head to toe! The interval style format maximizes your workout to burn more calories and sustain cardiovascular health. No dance experience necessary!

A dynamic class that fuses bursts of cardio with strength exercises to sculpt your upper body, legs, and core. This 45-minute, full-body workout incorporates a variety of strength training equipment to work your muscles in new ways and teach you how to make the most out of your workout. Open to all fitness levels.

Practice a variety of training modes with a heavy focus on the fundamentals of movement (hinge, squat, lunge, gait, push, pull, and rotation).  Learn to safely rehearse exercises that develop core stability, and improve the performance of daily movement patterns.  While this class encourages high effort workouts, we understand that effort is relative to experience and fitness levels.  RIT employees with goals centered on weight management, general health, and better movement are encouraged to try this class!

Better me HIIT, or High Intensity Interval Training, takes participants through a full-body workout that alternates between short, high intensity sets, followed by short recovery sets.

Better Me Indoor Cycling instructors guide participants through various workout phases within each class in order to improve physical conditioning on a specialized stationary bike. Phases include warmup, steady-paced cycling, sprints, climbs, cool down, and more.

Better Me Kettlebell class utilizes the uniquely designed kettlebell to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and cardiovascular capacity while emphasizing technique and safety.

Do you suffer from tendonitis, tight muscles, back, neck, and shoulder pain? This no-impact, low-intensity class utilizes various tools and techniques to help you feel your best! Self-Myofascial Release (Foam rolling), Dynamic Stretching, Static Stretching, and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation Stretching (PNF Stretching) are the scientifically proven methods which will be utilized heavily in this restorative class.

Pilates is a low-impact class designed to improve joint strength, balance, posture, coordination, and core stability. Participants are coached through the day-to-day application of learned movements.

The Better Me Tai Chi class offers a mind-body workout designed to improve physical and mental health by helping to reduce anxiety and stress, improving balance and coordination, increasing flexibility and strengthening muscle.
