ASCM@RIT, RIT’s supply chain management club, facilitated a site visit to the Rochester office of QuidelOrtho, a medical device and testing kit manufacturer, on Thursday, February 27th. The club was accompanied by their advisor, Kevin Sweeney, associate professor and director, MS in global supply chain management.
“The visit was a great opportunity for students to see the manufacturing facility of QuidelOrtho, a company involved in the medical manufacturing industry,” says Sweeney. “The students got a chance to see behind the scenes of the laboratories and warehousing facilities on site, as well as learn from QuidelOrtho’s experts about the unique supply chain challenges facing professionals in the medical supply chain industry.”
