Saunders College of Business students receive a unique education integrating business with technology and design thinking. The renovation of existing classrooms and the expansion of Max Lowenthal Hall to nearly double the business college’s size will help to drive creativity and innovation among the next generation of business leaders.

Saunders College of Business recognizes the accomplishments of its outstanding employees throughout the 2022-23 academic year.

Saunders College of Business drew hundreds of attendees to the RIT campus Feb. 17 and 18 for the college’s inaugural Women’s Leadership Weekend, hosting the 13th annual Power Your Potential Women’s Conference and 3rd annual Women’s Leadership Summit on consecutive days for the first time ever.

Saunders College of Business is increasing their efforts to promote women in business with the Women’s Leadership Summit, which aims to connect women, allies, alumni, and current and prospective students from the RIT and NTID community and to allow them to share career journeys and to develop new leadership skills and mindsets.

Ekua Quagraine, a second-year international business major from Kansas City, Mo., is the current president of Women in Business. Under her leadership, the organization will resume its annual Skate for a Cause event on Feb. 18, to benefit the Malala Fund.

A new certificate program launched by Saunders College of Business is helping to develop strong leaders who are equipped to tackle personal, relational and global challenges.

RIT student Chelsy Ray “pays it forward” each spring when she welcomes a new cohort of high school women to Saunders College of Business for a day of exploration, activity and networking. For the past three years, Ray has co-led the Women Leading Business conference, an opportunity for young women interested in pursuing degrees or careers in business to get up close and personal with professional women in industry.
