U.S. News & World Report Rankings, 2025

The undergraduate business program at Rochester Institute of Technology’s Saunders College of Business is nationally ranked and recognized. Saunders is ranked 77th overall and 5th in New York State in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Undergraduate Business category for 2025.

This rating is in line with that of RIT overall, which is ranked 91st out of 436 institutions nationwide—a jump of seven spots from last year and RIT’s highest ranking ever by U.S News. In addition, RIT ranked 41st in Best Value Schools, 45th in Best Undergraduate Teaching, and #6 in Co-ops/Internships. This last is especially gratifying as co-op is fundamental to an RIT education.

Saunders is continuously innovating its curriculum to respond to the ever-changing world and to help students engage in critical thinking and strategic problem solving. Students can major in areas such as marketing, management information systems (MIS), supply chain management, hospitality and tourism management (HTM), and various other business majors and minors

Saunders’ internationally recognized faculty are the heart of the business program. Using real-world applications, they prepare students for a range of employment opportunities. In addition, the highly regarded co-op program gives students the chance to get paid experience in their field of interest.

At the intersection of business and technology, students learn to become expert decision-makers, innovators, and change-agents in their fields. An innovative spirit is at the core of Saunders’ business programs.
