Why did you decide to attend Saunders College of Business at RIT?
I decided to attend Saunders because it provided the flexibility to explore my interests and customize my learning. The variety of classes and research opportunities is truly unique and inspiring. I was drawn to the co-op program because I knew it would set me apart from my peers through college and after.
What's great about your co-op?
My favorite part about my co-op was the people! JLL truly cares about its employees. They extend that same care to one another every day. Networking and connecting with others come naturally in a great workplace where people are at the core of their work. JLL is #1 for Forbes America's Best Employers for Diversity, magnified at all levels of the organization. One of the most rewarding parts of my co-op internship was the privilege of being involved in the Diversity and Inclusion Committee with those hungry to learn and eager for more. Courage and passion were very contagious this summer!
In what ways has Saunders/RIT prepared you for the job market?
Saunders has prepared me for the job market by introducing me to various options within my areas of interest. I feel as if what I am learning is personalized to me. I am incredibly thankful to the professors who have shared resources with me and extended their network. RIT's various resources like resume reviews, mock interviews, and co-op information sessions helped prepare me for the job market.
What do you feel is the most distinctive advantage gained from your Saunders Experience?
The most distinctive advantage I gained from my Saunders experience was the network of professors and classmates. Not only are you investing in yourself here, but others are investing in you.
