Theater of War is a series of works based on an archive of photographs made of men playing games with air guns that are based on news reports and veteran's experiences in contemporary conflicts.

A photographic performance of Kill House, one of the photographs from the series, took place at Gallery r in September 2015.

Meredith Davenport is associate professor and director of the RIT Photojournalism program. Her practice combines a lifetime as a documentary photographer with an impulse to expand and build upon the language of photographic images. The gray area between truth and fiction, while "being witness to and telling stories about the world" are the focus of her many varying projects.
