A rare showing of films by the late pioneering artist, whose work spanned photography, film, video, sculpture, performative action, earth-body works, and more; along with Raquel Cecilia Mendieta’s documentary film Nature Inside, narrated by Ana Mendieta.

Clarissa Uprooted: Unearthing Stories of Our Village (1940s-early 1970s)
The Clarissa Street Neighborhood (now known as Corn Hill) is rich with history. It was a thriving cultural center in downtown Rochester, NY, where the original RIT campus sat nearby. It was especially known for the Pythodd Jazz Club - where legendary artists once performed.
Twelve contemporary printmakers will make unique prints on the RIT Campus during a week-long residency, culminating in a one-day pop up show and auction on Saturday May 21 at City Art Space.

A solo exhibition of images from photographer David Butow's new book, BRINK, chronicling politics in the United States from the 2016 presidential election, the turmoil of 2020 and concludes with the insurrection and its aftermath at the U.S. Capitol in January 2021.
