I have been involved in the Comparative Cognition and Perception Lab since early 2018, working with both the goldfish and the river otters. I was a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow in 2019. I received my B.S. in Psychology, with a minor in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, from RIT in the spring of 2020. My senior project investigated object categorization in North American river otters. I was in the M.S. Program in Experimental Psychology at RIT, which I completed in May 2022. I hope to continue this type of research on animal cognition and perception in a Ph.D. program after graduating with my M.S. degree. I am currently a research associate working part time in the lab on the Primate Portal Project at the Seneca Park Zoo.
