King’s Legacy keynote speaker featured on WXXI
‘Connections with Evan Dawson’ will highlight event and programming
Soledad O’Brien, former anchor for CNN and keynote speaker for this year’s Expressions of King’s Legacy at RIT, will be featured on WXXI’s Connections with Evan Dawson 1-1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 22. She will be interviewed about her address for the annual celebration of Dr. King’s legacy, titled “Diversity on TV, Behind the Scenes and in our Lives,” as well as her community service initiatives.
The interview will be live on WXXI-AM (1370) or WRUR-FM (88.5). Listeners can call in to the program 1-844-295-TALK (8255).
Kevin McDonald, RIT’s vice president and associate provost for diversity and inclusion, is also participating in the WXXI interview.
Stephanie Paredes, manager of multicultural programs for RIT’s Division for Diversity and Inclusion will be interviewed about the Expressions program on WDKX at 7:45 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, during the radio station’s “Memory Lane” program.
