The numbers are impressive. One hundred RIT employees have now completed the Division of Diversity and Inclusion’s Cultural Humility Certificate program since it started in 2019, according to Taj Smith, director of Diversity Education. Each participant must take part in a total of six workshops. Most of those workshops take a year to complete. Smith says another 700 RIT employees are currently enrolled. While this year’s workshops are coming to a close, registration for new workshop dates and new topics will begin in mid-August.
