It’s Time to Submit Your Ideas for Together RIT
We want to hear from you. It’s time for students, staff, faculty and alumni to share your ideas and submit your proposals for Together RIT: A Day of Dialogue coming up this fall. This is the second year for the campus-wide initiative and the theme is new. This year the focus is on gender and sexuality. The deadline to send your ideas in is June 30th.
Here are some guidelines from the selection committee:
“We are open to receiving submissions from any and all mediums, including conference papers, works of art, film, photography, interactive pieces, performances, digital media, collaborative or multi-media projects, roundtable discussions, poster boards, or other creative modes of expression. While we seek submissions from anyone who can earnestly speak to these and other subjects, we are particularly interested in submissions from those who identify as women and/or members of the LGBTQIA+ and two-spirit communities. We also welcome submissions from those who want to focus on their marginalized intersectional identities.”
Once proposals are submitted, the selection committee will review them and notify everyone with a decision in August. Together RIT: A Day of Dialogue will be held this year on October 20th from 10 am to 4pm and is open only to the RIT community. Learn more about how to submit a proposal here
