Major thanks to RIT students Crystal McFarlane, Zoe Zapata and recent graduate Natalie Robinson. The trio shared what life is like on the RIT campus with visiting high school students from Young Women’s College Prep last month. Some are prospective students, three have been awarded Destler/Johnson Rochester City Scholarships. McFarlane, Zapata and Robinson led a panel discussion in MOSAIC, hosted by the Multicultural Center for Academic Success (MCAS). They talked about everything from residential life, their involvement with Women of Color, Honor and Ambition (WOCHA), student clubs and the RIT FoodShare Center. The MCAS team also shared information about summer academic programming and Rochester City Scholar coaching that is available to students.
