If you are in the Big Apple, stop by the 47 Canal Art Gallery. You can check out Minett Professor Emeritus G. Peter Jemison’s exhibition “On the Right Path.” It is a survey of his works from 1982 to 2003. Jemison (Seneca, Heron Clan) is an artist, a leading authority on Haudenosaunee history and has long been linked with Ganondagan State Historic Site. He says, “Since retiring I’ve really been focusing on my art and getting into my studio as often as I can.” The exhibition opened last month. It runs through January 27, 2024. Jemison served as RIT Minett Professor during the 2007-2008 academic year.
