Celebrate Black Culture and Heritage at RIT in February
There are a lot of exciting events taking place during Black Heritage Month at RIT.
They say art is in the eye of the beholder. Stop by the Fireside Lounge February 1st from noon to 2 p.m. to view some amazing artwork— from photography and ceramics to paintings and drawings.
All of it--created by RIT students, faculty and staff. You get to decide who’ll receive prizes and the People’s Choice Award. The theme is “Legacy” and there’s still time if you want to submit a piece. The deadline is January 24th. Submit entry here
From movie night Feb 18th (grab some popcorn) to an off-site journey to the Memorial Art Gallery Feb. 27th, Black Heritage Month activities will educate—and entertain everyone who takes part!
