Students Are Encouraged to Apply for the McNair Scholars Program
The Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program is now accepting applications for the 2025 cohort. This process happens only once a year. Applications will be due February 10.
The purpose of the McNair Scholars Program is to prepare students for PhD programs, as well as major graduate fellowships. Students must be second-year or above to be eligible.
The program offers scholastic experiences that help prepare undergraduate students for doctoral studies. Students will engage in undergraduate research, and then present that research here at RIT and at conferences across the country, with the added bonus of networking with other McNair Scholars. The McNair Scholars Program also offers workshops, graduate school preparation seminars, assistance with the graduate school application process and in-person visits to graduate schools.
