Liz Bremer, Ed.D. has accepted a new position as the Director of Assessment and Research Management effective March 18, 2019. In her new role, she will report to David Wick, Assistant Vice President for Assessment and Research Management to expand the research and assessment portfolio of the division. Liz has been a member of the RIT community since 2012, holding previous roles in the division with TRiO Student Support Services/I’m First program, and most recently as the Assistant Director of Assessment & Academic Partnerships in MCAS. She also teaches classes in the College of Science and has been involved with CASTLE (Center for Advancing STEM Teaching, Learning & Evaluation) with the Learning Assistant program and as a Program Coordinator for IMPRESS.
Kareem J. Hayes, director, TRiO Upward Bound has been accepted in to the Baylor University Online Ed.D. program in Learning Organizational Change. He is planning to use his degree to work alongside the Campaign for Black Male Achievement surrounding parenting practices that leads to success for young black and brown males. Kareem is very interested in doing research in the RCSD and certain suburban districts in Monroe County.
Tonya Holmes, joined the Division for Diversity and Inclusion in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion as the new Senior Staff Assistant on February 27, 2019. She comes to us with over twenty years of experience as an Office Manager at American Medical Response (Formerly Rural Metro Medical Services).
