HEOP and CSTEP Students in Albany
Four RIT students had an opportunity to meet one-on-one with state lawmakers last month in Albany. They took part in Student Lobby Day which allowed them to share how critical state aid funding is in helping students afford higher education. The students are part of DDI’s Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) and the Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP). Members of RIT’S Office of Government and Community Relations traveled with them. Congratulations to Anisette Wiggins (HEOP), Rebecca Miralrio (HEOP/CSTEP), Emily Francisco (HEOP/CSTEP) and Rodney Sanchez (CSTEP) for using your voices and telling your stories.
