From the Office of Faculty Diversity and Recruitment: Lorraine Stinebiser, director of Faculty Diversity and Recruitment and Donathan Brown, assistant provost and assistant vice president for Faculty Diversity and Recruitment, prepared and led a virtual workshop for the Black Doctoral Network on April 26th.
Titled “Making the Move from Grad School to the Professorate”, Stinebiser and Brown offered valuable information on the ways underrepresented minority scholars can position themselves for the academic job market. The Black Doctoral Network provides support and networking opportunities for Black and Latino scholars and professionals in the Social Sciences, STEM and Humanities.
