Silvia Carballo has transitioned to a new role within the institution and is now at AdvanceRIT. We wish her much success in her new role.
Janet Lomax, journalist in residence, Division of Diversity and Inclusion, will be among 100 women featured in a new exhibition at the Rochester Museum and Science Center. The Changemakers: Rochester Women Who Changed the World opens November 20th and runs through May 2021. The exhibition honors the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment and is in commemoration of the women’s suffrage movement.
Taj Smith, director Diversity Education will facilitate a zoom workshop, “Let’s Talk Social Equity”, during Tiger Alumni Week October 22nd. More information here
Maria Vega joined the Office of Faculty Diversity and Recruitment team Sept. 14. She is helping with a variety of projects and faculty diversity and recruitment initiatives.
