A big thank you to Multicultural Center for Academic Success student staff, Joyce Chu and Camila Silvera with the MCAS Hot Spot, DDI Tutoring’s newly rebranded academic support. During the month of September, Chu and Silvera developed an onboarding process and coordinated communications to highlight the hiring of seven MCAS Hot Spot staff: Bikram Gurung, Afe Omiyi, Eloy Ramirez, Luis Remache, Xavier Thomas, Joseph Vazquez, and Jaelin Vernon. This student staff is leading the development of the MCAS Hot Spot into the “go-to” academic support locale on campus.
