Melissa Daminski '10 is Vice President of Engineering for the Tactical Communications (TCOM) sector within the Communication Systems segment at L3Harris Technologies.

Daminski stepped into her current role in March 2024, where she leads the TCOM engineering organization. She is responsible for the development and execution of strategies to deliver current and future products and capabilities, aiming to expand the business and support customers’ missions.

Since joining L3Harris in 2009, Daminski has undertaken various roles with increasing responsibility within the TCOM engineering and product line management organizations. Her tenure has been marked by a focus on new product development and introduction across Airborne and ISR, as well as Ground Tactical portfolios, and she has contributed to RF hardware design and research for tactical manpacks.

Her outstanding contributions have been recognized with the Rochester Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 award in 2012.

Daminski’s academic credentials include a bachelor’s and master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, complemented by a Master of Business Administration from the University of Rochester Simon School of Business.
