Faculty members present research at annual physics conference

Stefan Preble, professor, Department of Electrical and Microelectronic Engineering, and Gregory Howland, assistant professor, School of Physics and Astronomy, attended the 55th annual meeting of the APS Division of Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics, June 3-7 in Fort Worth, Texas. They presented their research on “Progress Towards Trapping and Cooling of Barium-133,” “Barium Trapped-Ion System Onboard an UAS,” “Low-Crosstalk Silicon Fabricated Optical Waveguides for Laser Delivery to Matter Qubits,” and “Silicon-Nitride Waveguide Splitter for Light Delivery to High-Fidelity Matter Qubits.”
