Jackson coordinates IC processing short course
Michael Jackson, associate professor of microelectronic engineering, led a five-day short course on integrated circuit processing, June 17-21, for the Northrop Grumman Corp. The microelectronics team, which included Robert Pearson, Karl Hirschman, Ivan Puchades, and Stephanie Bolster, guided attendees through the design, fabrication, and testing of PMOS integrated circuits using the EME department design and testing labs and the KGCOE SNL cleanroom facility. Graduate students Eli Powell, Ceili Lipp, Gavin Anderberg, and Paul Jacobs assisted the faculty. This was the 10th offering under Jackson's direction.
