Kwasinski co-authors new book
Andres Kwasinski, professor of computer engineering, published Resilience Engineering for Power and Communications Systems: Networked Infrastructure in Extreme Events. The book, a collaboration with his brother, Alexis Kwasinski, an engineering professor at the University of Pittsburgh, and Vaidyanathan Krishnamurthy, reliability data scientist at Orsted A/S, is a comprehensive presentation of network theory, data networking, reliability, and resilience, and of the strategies, technologies, and tools to improve power and information and communication network resilience.

RIT researcher Blanca Lapizco-Encinas found new ways to identify those mutations faster. Resurrecting an older theoretical technique that can be used for analyzing pathogens that cause disease, her work could improve how clinicians develop more effective treatments.
