Pearson, Hirschman, and Jackson serve on NNN Cleanroom Symposium Steering Committee
Robert Pearson, Karl Hirschman, and Michael Jackson, faculty members in the electrical and microelectronic engineering department, served on the New York Nanotechnology Network Cleanroom Symposium Steering Committee, which held its annual meeting on Sept. 27 at the SHED. The event gathered over 140 semiconductor industry professionals to share research and discuss workforce growth in the field.

RIT researcher Blanca Lapizco-Encinas found new ways to identify those mutations faster. Resurrecting an older theoretical technique that can be used for analyzing pathogens that cause disease, her work could improve how clinicians develop more effective treatments.
