Pearson recognized with outstanding teaching award
Robert Pearson, associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Microelectronic Engineering, received the 2023 IEEE Region 1 Outstanding Teaching Award. Pearson was recognized for outstanding teaching, leadership, mentorship, and contributions to advance microelectronics engineering education. An alumnus of the Kate Gleason College, Pearson had served as program director of microelectronic engineering for 11 years. He has mentored and advised many of the RIT alumni currently found in today’s semiconductor fabrication laboratories and companies.
