RIT hosts two new webinars about engineering leadership programs
Learn about online master’s degree in product development and manufacturing leadership
Professionals interested in advancing leadership skills in high-tech industries can learn about different degree options through an informational webinar hosted by Rochester Institute of Technology and its Kate Gleason College of Engineering. “Engineering Leadership Programs at RIT” takes place from noon to 1 p.m. on Oct. 17 and Nov. 14. Participants can choose one or the other session to learn more about the graduate degree programs and professional certificates in product development, operations, systems engineering, supply chain management and project management.
Webinars are open to engineers, technical managers and other professionals moving into mid- and senior-level management positions. Available part-time and online, students can take one or two courses each semester to customize their pace of learning.
“Students have found the skills developed through these programs not only help them become more marketable, they also foster the self-confidence needed to take on new responsibilities,” said Mark Smith, director, RIT Leadership Programs in RIT’s Kate Gleason College of Engineering. “The combination of engineering and business coursework provides a broad perspective needed to lead today’s high technology enterprises.”
Register for either webinar by contacting Lou Fantozzi, business development manager, at ljfpdm@rit.edu. A link to the webinar will be sent with confirmation of registration.
