RIT’s College of Engineering Dedicates New Multi-Million Dollar Research Wing
New facility will be officially opened during a ceremony on the RIT campus
The Kate Gleason College of Engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology will dedicate a new multi-million dollar research wing of the James E. Gleason Building during a ceremony at 2:15 p.m., Friday, Sept. 7, in front of the north entrance of the building. The wing will house the Department of Computer Engineering, the Brinkman Machine Tools & Manufacturing Laboratory and space for student projects through the college’s multidisciplinary senior design program. Student project work and the new laboratories will both be featured during a tour immediately following the ceremony.
The construction was funded through the efforts of several donors including the Gleason Foundation, the Brinkman Family Fund and Harris Corp.
