Advising
The biomedical engineering department views academic advising as an essential component of the undergraduate experience. Students are assigned a faculty advisor and a professional staff advisor to assist with academic, social, and professional needs.
Conduct and Honesty
Please refer to RIT’s Policy on Student Academic Integrity Process for information on conduct and honesty policies.
Student Handbooks
Please refer to these guides for specific information:

Tutoring and Mentoring
Department tutoring and peer mentoring services are available year-round. Academic advisors can guide and refer their students to various resources and services for academic support. Tutors are available for every area of study.
Academic Success Center - RIT’s Academic Support Center provides quality resources and experienced staff to meet student needs. The ASC's academic coaching, individual and group tutoring, workshops, classes, and presentations assist students in developing the skills necessary to achieve their academic goals.
Biomedical Engineering Tutoring - Teaching assistant (TA) and faculty office hours are emailed to students around the first week of classes each semester. If you are struggling with a class, please visit the department office (INS-3100) or contact Renee Milliken, office manager.
