Collins Aerospace Alignment Inspection Vision System

A Multidisciplinary Senior Design project sponsored by Collins Aerospace in which students designed, manufactured, and tested a system which utilizes a Cognex Camera, Allen-Bradley PLC, and custom illumination methods to inspect QR coded tool alignment during a multi-phase build process. If misalignment is detected, system stops and an error light is triggered.
