Multidisciplinary Senior Design Project
Inexpensive CPAP Machine
One in five adults have sleep apnea. Sleep apnea sufferers need better, more affordable solutions. Existing devices are bulky and costly. This project is a proof of concept for a new, inexpensive device that will be available at a competitive cost compared to current market options. The device will utilize an all-new timing specific application of pressurized air delivery to improve the patient's quality of sleep. At this exhibit, visitors will have the opportunity to view the device in action; connected to a model head with visible mock lungs to see how the device affects the level of air in the patient's lungs.
