RIT Robotic Bagpipes Senior Design Team

We are the Robotic Bagpipe Senior Design Team and we have finished the creation of a robot that can play the bagpipes. There are two air tanks, one high pressure and one low pressure, that feed into the bagpipe to supply the required air pressure. There are eight solenoids that interact with the bagpipe's chanter to cover and uncover the holes and thus play different notes. The whole system is controlled with a Raspberry Pi microcontroller which enables interfacing with the machine through an LCD touch screen mounted on its back.
