Zoom New ASL Interpreter Feature

Zoom now allows for a specialized Sign Language Interpreter Role with dedicated video feed. Participants have a more flexible view of the interpreter during the meeting and in cloud recordings.

In this training, you will learn how to:

  • Properly schedule Zoom meetings as a meeting host to enable this feature.
  • Assign interpreters to the new Zoom Interpreter role as a meeting host.
  • View the interpreter during a meeting as a meeting participant.

This session is intended for RIT faculty, staff and students. Participants should request Access Services, if needed.
