RIT Research Building
RIT is expanding its research footprint on campus. Preliminary construction of a new, modern, two-story research facility is underway on the southwest side of campus. Located in close proximity to Global Village, this facility will provide 18 more laboratory spaces with nine of them already allocated to science (five labs), engineering (three labs), and computing (one lab). The remaining labs will be assigned in the future as new faculty are hired. The Research Building will encompass more than 39,000 square feet and also include a two-story lobby/atrium, a classroom and conference room.
