Bio
Darci Lane-Williams joined the RIT community in the fall of 2009 as the Assistant Director for Counseling and Advocacy in the Center for Women and Gender. In the summer of 2011, Darci became the third Director of the Center before assuming her current role at the Assistant Director of Title IX and Clery Compliance in the fall of 2019.
Darci has served as a counselor and advocate for over 20 years, working with college-age students, children, adolescents, chemically dependent and incarcerated adults and survivors of various forms of abuse. She serves as a content expert on issues of domestic and dating violence, sexual assault, Title IX, developmental counseling, interpersonal relationship dynamics, prevention education and interactive outreach.
Darci received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the State University at Buffalo.
