RIT graduate pursues Ph.D. across time zones
Nastaran Nagshineh, a Ph.D. candidate at RIT, successfully bridged the Rochester and Dubai campuses, paving the way for future international students. Nagshineh is one of 67 Ph.D. students who defended their thesis this academic year and who will earn their doctorate.

RIT and UR partner to create accelerated graduate degree pathways for education and counseling students
RIT’s College of Liberal Arts and University of Rochester’s Warner School of Education have established new 3+2 and 4+1 admissions agreements, providing RIT undergraduate students with expedited pathways to launch their careers in teaching, higher education, or counseling. These agreements streamline the process for eligible students to earn both their bachelor’s and master’s degrees within a five-year timeframe.

RIT graduate programs ranked among best in nation by ‘U.S. News & World Report’
Graduate degree programs at RIT were named among the best in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report. In the U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Schools 2024, RIT’s Saunders College of Business tied for 97th as one of the top full-time MBA programs.

Graduate students selected as finalists in the 2024 Coca-Cola Refreshing Films program
The CCRF program is a platform that provides students the opportunity to create content for the big screen. Each year, the program creates a student scripting challenge which invites students from partnered schools to submit their ideas. Four scripts were selected as finalists this year to receive funding for production.

RIT announces start of summer semester registration, March 25
RIT has announced that registration is open for its summer semester that will be offered in in-person and online formats. Undergraduate and graduate students can take advantage of a 12-week session and two six-week sessions, graduate students can also enroll in a targeted seven-week session.
