3D Printed Skin Substrate

Location

James E. Gleason Hall (GLE/009) - Gordon Atrium

Our MSD project aims to develop a skin substrate for cosmetic testing at Estee Lauder. The substrate is made from silicon, which is poured into a 3D-printed mold. Throughout the project, we conducted various tests focusing on wrinkle and pore geometry, substrate density and hardness, and 3D printing resolutions. The final deliverables include the skin substrate, the mold, and the manufacturing process.
