AI for Humanitarian Data Analytics

Location

Golisano Hall (GOL/070) - Atrium 1940

We are building a tool that will allow users to analyze open source Telegram chat data to identify key themes, locations, and questions in the conversations. Its purpose is to aid in humanitarian missions which consistently use chat data like this to determine aid needs. We would like to do a demonstration of the tool and possibly allow others to interact with the live datasets. Visitors could choose a dataset to upload and see how AI is utilized to analyze the text, photos, and videos, translate the messages, categorize the messages. They can then view the data in an interactive visualization.
